Making Felted Acorn Garland

With all those acorn caps I've been collecting, finally I made them into soft felted wool acorn garlands. It takes quite a number of steps, from drilling holes (I need to exercise my arm muscles - I had a sore arm after drilling few hundred caps), stringing them on hemp cord, and attaching the felted wool balls. I hope to keep some of them in my room, wrap them around a mini-pine tree I hope to have this winter, and add some festive atmosphere in the house!

My favorites are the white ones as shown above, but I've also been making the multi-color garlands and also custom single-shade ones as well (blues, greens, reds, you name them!)
